It really does show that monkeys are very creative, because the amount of stunts one monkey makes in that movie is amazing and I think that makes monkeys really smart! Well also a fact here that they are the closet living thing to humans. there finger are sort of the same. So the next time you think about teasing a monkey because well there are monkey be careful they are smarter then you think! They might even punch you!

Can you image if you were a monkey how would you feel being locked up and hunted by people? personally I wouldn’t. Monkeys are hunted down and captured. In the zoo is ok but in a circus or something mean is really bad! So if you go to the zoo don’t go poking or punching the monkeys in there cage put yourself in there shoes I don’t think they would like it. Or in the circus it isn’t that fun to laugh at the monkey because people do mean things to make them do tricks. Please think about it, and try to help monkeys because they want to be free in the wild. What if your mum or dad sold you to the circus or the zoo how would you feel. it is really mean try watching a documentary about them like there was one about the Gelada Monkey that was on 60 mins but only because it was being eaten buy cheetahs but still what are you going to do with a monkey if you caught it….. put on a side show! So i please ask you don’t be mean to the monkey WHAT HAVE THEY EVER DONE TO YOU?

And in most or some there are monkeys I think it is mean because they just should be in the wild. But to make an animal to tricks like that it really bad. A friend of mine her dad worked in the circus with he elephants, and to make them do things they got big sticks and poked them.

So if you want to work in the circus maybe think about what your really doing hurting animals!

Don’t you wish sometimes that you don’t have to go all the way up to Melbourne or overseas to see a monkey? Well would it be good if they were like a normal animal and they had them in at the Geelong show. I think that would be good! Well it could happen some day. But until that day you will have to wait but I just thought it would be cool if monkeys were in other places e.g the show. Or maybe have a monkey in you backyard ( ask mum and dad first)?

The Old World monkeys are found in South Asia, with a few species as far North as Japan and North China, and in all of Africa except the deserts. A few monkeys, such as baboons and some macaque species, are ground dwellers. Some Old World monkeys lack tails; when a tail is there it may be long or short but is never prehensile. The nostrils are close together and tend to point downward. Many species have cheek pouches for holding food, and many have thick pads, on the buttocks. Their gestation period is five to nine months. Adult Old World monkeys have 32 teeth. The Old World monkeys, sometimes called true monkeys, are more closely related to the apes and humans than they are to the
